Earlier this week, Bentley Motors Ltd. launched two new cars for the Indian market: the Azure and the Continental GTC priced at Rs 3.80 and Rs 2.10 crore respectively.The launch comes after the 2003 debut of the Continental Flying Spur of which, the luxury car manufacturer has already sold 50 units. Bentley allocates a set quota of cars to be sold for every market to maintain exclusivity.“We hope to sell 25 units through the year to balance the production constraints and to offer an exclusive ownership experience to our customers,”said Ian Hession, Regional Sales Manager, Bentley Middle East, Africa and India. Hession also announced plans to have a dealership in Mumbai by early next year. The Azure is a four-seater convertible and with its 6.75 litre twin-turbo charged V8 producing 450bhp and 875Nm torque.The Continental GTC is powered by a sixlitre unit, and hits 100kph in under 5 seconds, with a top whack of 312kph.
